Individual resilience is not enough. In the research project Compass for Organisational Resilience, we explore how small organisations in the performing arts (production venues, festivals, companies) can remain capable of acting in times of crisis without shifting responsibility solely onto individuals. Rather than focusing only on personal resilience, we look at structures and dynamics: the interplay between individual, team, organisation, and environment. We believe that this shift in perspective makes a difference, especially in times of financial and political pressure.

Programme

In this lab, we would like to take a moment to pause with you and reflect on your everyday working life: What strengthens you, and what puts you under pressure? We will share initial insights from our research and would like to work together with you to

  • explore which forms of “training” can help your organisation become and remain resilient and adaptable.

  • train the muscle of resilience.

For whom is the open call?

Cultural workers based and working in Switzerland. Prior knowledge of organisational resilience is not required. Participation is limited – we want to ensure that everyone can actively participate and contribute.

Travel
Travel costs within Switzerland (to and from Bern) by public transport can be reimbursed.
